This summer's event has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 8, at 10:00 am, and will be a Zoom meeting. Members who register will receive a link to access the event on a laptop or ipad. We'll be examining the close and distant cousins of the genus Clematis, looking for the family resemblance.

“Cousins” of clematis include hellebores, monkshood, larkspur and delphinium, anemones of all types, and a host of other great garden plants. Our curator has been the herbaceous perennials instructor at Clackamas Community College for over 20 years, and delights in drawing attention to the similarities and differences within this beautiful, boisterous family. This will include a virtual tour of the RCG, looking at some of the garden-worthy examples we already have. We thank our members for their patience as we get comfortable with the technology to create enjoyable educational experiences while keeping our FRCC family safe.
