Day 2 of our annual fundraiser will begin with a keynote speaker, Cole Burrell, naturalist, lecturer, and award-winning garden write and garden designer. “The Blue Ridge Mountains and Beyond: In Search of Species That Inspired a New Look in Clematis” will be the subject of his talk, followed by a flower arrangement demonstration by Tomoko Chikuma and Robin Sonoda.
In the afternoon, there will be a Clematis Propagation Technique workshop presented by Mikiyoshi Chikuma, followed by a Herbaceous Perennial Clematis Division presented by Linda Beutler. Each participant will bring home a tray of their own propagation.
There will be vendors to sell plants and docent tours at the Rogerson Clematis Garden throughout the day. These are open to the public and no ticket purchase is needed.
